D. Shane Stevens
Shane co‐founded Dental Health Management Solutions in 2003 with a vision to service the dental needs of individuals on a mobile basis and has since built DHMS into a successful holding company with several dental‐related operating units. Under Stevens’ leadership, DHMS has grown from a local dental services provider to international provider of dental services.
Prior to forming DHMS with his wife Jennifer, Shane spent several years in senior management roles developing and managing assisted living and Alzheimer’s memory residential centers with a leading national developer. As a Senior Director he oversaw five (5) facilities in multiple Texas cities.
Stevens has served and volunteered with several organizations throughout his career, including serving as co‐chair for the Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk and serving on the planning committee for the Texas Conference on Aging. He is a deacon at Austin Baptist Church.
Stevens earned a BS in Long Term Health Care Administration from Texas State University in San Marcos.
Marshall is the Founder and Managing Partner of Lampstand Investments, LLC. He is responsible for investment origination, transaction structuring, acquisition execution and partner company monitoring. Marshall has spent his entire career investing, managing, and advising lower middle market businesses. He brings a wealth of finance, marketing and strategy experience to our Advisory Board team.
Prior to founding Lampstand, Marshall was Chief Financial Officer at Rent A Toll, Ltd, a business process outsourcing company providing toll road transaction services to major corporations which own or manage third-party operated vehicles. Previously, Marshall was a private equity investor with Trinity Hunt Partners and an investment banker with Harris Williams & Co. As a private equity investor, Marshall helped lower middle market businesses achieve their growth plans by providing strategic guidance and financial resources that enabled them to launch new products and services, develop new customer relationships, and source and integrate add-on acquisitions.
Marshall earned a BS in Business Administration and Accounting with a second major in Economics from Washington and Lee University. He also holds an MBA from Columbia Business School.
